About me
I grew up in Flint Michigan and learned to swim at the local YMCA and my High School Swim Team. After moving to Utah in 1975 my time in the pool dwindled. After a 35 year career as an educator & administrator in Utah, I retired in 2011 and moved to the city of Ivins just outside St. George. I learned about Masters Swimming and the USMS and became active in the Utah LMSC. I have participated in many USMS meets including the USMS SCY nationals in 2017-2023. I now swim five times a week and can’t imagine going more than a few days without spending time in the water. I have Coaching Level 1 & Level 2 Certification and look forward to helping people enjoy swimming at all levels.
